Adult Bovine Serum is obtained from animals that are older than 12 months, contains more immunoglobulins than Fetal Bovine Serum, and has an increased protein content. Adult Bovine Serum is a cost-effective alternative to Fetal Bovine Serum. Upon request, this serum is offered with treatments such as heat-inactivation or gamma irradiation.
